Scramble League Tournament Announcement

Our Scramble League Match Play Tournament will begin on August 26. Tournament brackets will be posted no later than August 19.

To help schedule matches efficiently, please write your telephone number on the score sheet.

This is a team match play tournament using handicaps. Handicaps will be applied as follows:
The team with the lower handicap will give strokes to the higher-handicapped team, based on the difference between the two team handicaps.
Strokes are awarded on the course’s most difficult holes.
Example:
If Team A has a team handicap of 2 and Team B has a handicap of 4, Team A will give Team B a stroke on each of the two hardest holes.

The team that wins the majority of holes wins the match.
If the match is tied after 9 holes, play will continue until one team wins a hole. Handicap strokes continue to apply during sudden death playoff holes.

If a team playing from the Gold tees faces a team playing from the White tees, the White tees will determine the hardest holes.

There is no total score or points, this is strictly a match play tournament.

Please note the most handicap stokes given on any hole is one.
